Benefits of Membership

Members can go to all meetings, field trips, coach trips, and study days and can take part in our ecological survey work. You receive a bi-monthly newsletter, and our annual journals The London Naturalist and London Bird Report. You can join our members-only message boards and can subscribe to our reading circles, which circulate various specialist magazines and journals at reduced rates.

 

How to Join

To join the Society, download and print the appropriate application form using the links below, and post to the the Membership Secretary (whose address appears on the form), with a cheque payable to London Natural History Society.

The subscription falls due on 1st January each year. The first annual subscription of a new member joining after 1 October willl also cover the year following the year in which they join.

Ordinary member: £20

Student member: £5

- Anyone under 18, and people of any age who are receiving full-time education.

Family member: £4

- where members of one family live at the same address, only one needs to pay the full subscription. Others can join as Family Members for £4 each, and do not receive publications except the Programme.

 

Corporate subscribers: £20

- available to organisations such as companies, local authorities and colleges. Carries the same privileges as ordinary membership.

If you wish to pay by standing order please write to the Assistant Treasurer to request a standing order form. His address is on the application forms. The Society is not able to offer payment by direct debit.
