Archaeology Reading Circle

We run an Archaeology Reading Circle that is able to circulate the following magazines to members of the Society at a much reduced subscription:

  • Current Archaeology
  • London Archaeologist
  • British Archaeology

Environmental Archaeology

 

We organise an annual lecture on Environmental Archaeology in collaboration with the London and Middlesex Archaeological Society (LAMAS).

The subject of the 2010 lecture will be as follows:

 

Tuesday 19th October 2010.
"Dreams for Dinner - the Natural and Social History of Nightshades." - talk given by Dr Sandra Knapp (Natural History Museum). Dr Knapp is a radio and TV broadcaster and is a world authority on the Solanaceae.
